Research principles
Who Gets In? is the research arm of Elite Careers Strategy. We examine how the world’s most selective institutions choose talent.
Primary-source first
Institution-controlled sources are the default evidence for published selection mechanics.
Atomic evidence
One signal states one narrow fact wherever practicable, preserving programme, market, route, cycle and date.
Unknown is a valid result
A failed search for public evidence does not establish that a programme or practice does not exist.
Observation is not causality
ECS practitioner experience and documented candidate outcomes are separate evidence classes from employer-published facts and are labelled accordingly.
Change is verified
A webpage edit becomes longitudinal intelligence only after the substantive change is verified and governed.
Corrections compound trust
When evidence changes or wording is too broad, the record should be corrected rather than preserved for marketing convenience.
