Elite recruitment changes. A credible research source must be able to narrow, update or correct its own record.

Who Gets In? separates official institution-published facts, ECS practitioner observations, documented candidate outcomes, quantitative empirical claims and explicit unknowns. Each class has a different evidence threshold.

If an official source changes, WGI does not automatically infer that real-world practice changed. The change is verified first. If a published WGI statement becomes too broad for its evidence, the intended response is to narrow or correct the statement rather than preserve it for marketing convenience.

Missing public evidence remains a gap, not a claim of absence.
